StreamTrove Ads
Ad policy
Short, because the rules are simple: promote real titles, honestly, to an audience that trusts us.
What can be advertised
Campaigns may only promote titles available in the StreamTrove catalog — series and films on the streaming services we track. There are no external landing pages, custom creatives, or third-party links: your placement is the title itself, your artwork, and your tagline.
Taglines must be truthful and relate to the promoted title. Claims about awards, ratings, or exclusivity must be accurate at the time the campaign runs.
Prohibited content
The following are not accepted, in any form: political or issue advertising; gambling and betting; alcohol, tobacco, and pharmaceutical marketing; adult content beyond the promoted title's own age rating; financial products including cryptocurrency; and anything unlawful, deceptive, or hateful.
Because StreamTrove inventory is title promotion only, most of these can't occur structurally — this section exists so the boundary is explicit.
Transparency to viewers
Every placement is labeled Sponsored. Every ad carries an info control disclosing who paid for it and, where targeting applies, why the viewer is seeing it. Campaign records (dates, spend, targeting) are retained.
Targeting uses genres and on-platform taste signals only. StreamTrove does not use third-party tracking data, does not target on sensitive characteristics, and does not serve personalized ads to accounts known to belong to minors.
Review & enforcement
Every advertiser account is reviewed by a human before approval, and the contact email must be verified. StreamTrove may reject applications, pause or remove campaigns, and revoke access at its discretion — including for conduct outside the platform that undermines viewer trust.
Budgets are paid through Paddle, our merchant of record. Spend accrues at second-price auction clearing prices and never exceeds the funded budget.
