Advertising Terms

These terms apply to advertisers using StreamTrove Ads, in addition to the Terms of Service. They are the agreement between the advertiser and Squirrel AS (org. nr. 931 987 291, Bøgata 25B, 0655 Oslo, Norway).

1. Accounts and approval

Advertiser accounts are created through the application on Advertise on StreamTrove and require our approval. You must provide accurate company and contact information and be authorized to act for the advertiser. We may approve, reject, or revoke access at our discretion, with notice.

2. Campaigns and content

• You are responsible for your creatives and landing pages: they must be lawful, accurate, non-misleading, and must not infringe third-party rights. Ads must comply with the Norwegian Marketing Control Act and, where applicable, the laws of the markets they target.
• What may be promoted, and what is prohibited, is defined by the StreamTrove Ad Policy, which forms part of these terms. We may reject or remove any creative that we judge to break it or to be harmful to users or the service.
• Sponsored placements are always disclosed to users with a sponsored indicator. You may not design creatives to disguise that disclosure.

3. Targeting and data

Targeting on StreamTrove is contextual (content genres and placement), not personal. You receive aggregate campaign statistics — impressions, clicks, spend — and never personal data about StreamTrove users.

4. Budgets and billing

Campaigns are priced as stated in the Ads Manager (CPM with a budget cap you set). Delivery stops at your cap. Amounts due are payable as set out in the ordering flow or invoice; prices exclude VAT unless stated.

5. No guarantee of results

We report delivery accurately but do not guarantee impressions, clicks, placement position, or campaign outcomes.

6. Liability and indemnity

You will indemnify Squirrel AS against third-party claims arising from your creatives or landing pages. Our total liability to an advertiser is limited to the amounts paid for the campaign giving rise to the claim. Mandatory law is unaffected.
